Another Year and More of the Same

So it seems as though we could end the college football season with two undefeated teams. The travesty, I mean what's absolutely insane, is that if Auburn looses to no.8 VA Tech in the Sugar Bowl then the BCS and College Football Kool-Aid drinkers will say...."See the system works, they aren't good enough for the championship game." The problem is that when you rob, no I am sorry, oppress people in a system that doesn't allow teams to prove their ability on the field, then you can't expect your sport to have competitive integrity. It makes no sense when division II football has a playoff system! I will say it for the hundredth time...College football isn't pure competition, because they don't let the kids compete, Universities get rich off the backs of kids and that's what's most important.

Mack Brown "We (college football) have the worst end of the season than any of the sports in the country." (November 26 ESPN) Five teams are undefeated! FIVE! The BCS is a total failure, and there by Division I College Football is a failure. If you are an A&M or Oklahoma fan how can you take pride in your ranking? Your team didn't earn it, it was GIVEN to them. It's not decided on the field it's decided in the court of opinion and by a computer it's ridiculous!!! It's un-American!

I got all worked up because I am posting this watching Sports Center. But the real reason for my post is to announce the new Heir Force Blog. It is going to be pretty good (I hope), I invite you to check it out.

I wouldn't be suprised to see a riot breakout. The masses breaking into the BCS boardroom demanding someone's head. How can you say with a straight face that this is the best possible way to determine a champion? Maybe college football players need to go on strike.
