Ooops....

Just in case you have been living in a "Church of Christ gossip cave" over the weekend, here's the video of the out and out rebellion on the Harding University campus. Friday night HU had Robert Randolf come and perform a concert. During one of his songs he encouraged the crowd to come up on stage and dance. He apparently does this every time he plays this song. Of course dancing isn't looked upon too highly by the higher ups at HU so the kids were put between a rock and a hard place. This of course was noticed by the local TV news station who did a report on it. You can watch the news report here.

So here it is the "Woodstockian" chaos of Harding University. I bet chapel was awkward this morning.

That may be the single greatest thing I have seen in a long time.
I couldn't sit still while I watched it, it made me so giddy. Good for them and good for Robert Randolf for encouraging it.
I can practically hear the chapel speech the next morning:
"Many of you are probably aware of the inappropriate activity during the concert last night..."
HAHAHAHAHA!
Awesome!

Finally, a clear example of non-violent resistance against an oppressive regime. Let their voices be heard! "We want to dance and flail around aimlessly!" This is a cause that I can really get behind... the right to dance poorly. I'm glad to see that our university students are standing up and making their beliefs known!

Just curious, I have always heard about this "unsaid" rule but have yet to have anyone even attempt to explain such rules from a Biblical standpoint. This video is funny and yet sad.

Where is the Biblical evidence for such rules?

Anyone care to shed some light for someone that did not grow up C of C?
