We're Home!

We boarded our plane at 8:30 a.m. est time (1:30 pm London time) and got off the plane at 6:30 p.m. By the time we got our bags, made it through customs, and battled NYC traffic we finally got home at 8:15 p.m. (1:15 a.m. London time). The delays, landing in a thunderstorm, and a very long flight did little to dampen our excitment over having completed our first trip to Europe as a family.

What an amazing experience and wonderful gift to be able to travel to such new and exciting places these past two weeks. And what an incredible blessing it is to have a home we were all excited to be coming back to.

I will post the full London report tomorrow complete with pictures. Then one final post on "America vs. Europe...a Lay Travelers Perspective." But for now, it's American Idol and then we're going to bed.
