Usually for me it is about 30 minutes after it's too late.
At first I thought, "Never!" but that's not right. Sometimes leaving them alone is the strategy that will be most effective.
Not everyone is going to listen to your advice, no matter much sense it might make. When my words fall on deaf ears, I step away.
Goodness. That's such a hard question. I think so much of it depends on the circumstance and the person. I think if it is a good friend or close family member and it is a "heart" issue, it is your responsibility to "butt in."
Oh no, is it me??? You can way whatever you need to say - I won't get mad, I promise.
